we had a pretty awesome couple of days over here at the rosenquist's.
day's that consisted of:

school, work, studying, cuddling, upgrading from toilet paper to an actual box of kleenex (big deal over here), church, trying out a new sandwich shop (sandwiches not so good but the company was great with lots of laughing involved making that total bust ..just a bust), oh and the occasional four hour nap ( this actually only has happened once this past friday but i'm totally down with making it into a friday ritual kind of thing) other than that we have been pretty low key over here.

a weekend with pa and thoughts about life.

i am starting to think about this more than i ever have before.

this weekend i stayed with my pa while nana was away for a few days. he is something else, that man. such a funny beautiful soul. i spent the weekend looking through the home i have spent many summers and holidays at. i love finding old pictures of nana and pa when they were young and in love, pictures of my mom when she was a baby too. makes me heart happy.

i got something i wasn't expecting to get out of this weekend. on the drive home i got to thinking about that first sentence up there.

so i made alittle pact with myself on the way back home.  to live my life to the fullest i can. to let the ones in my life know just how much i love them. because this life is a short one, ya know?

let me just state the obvious real quick: my mr. is the best ever. 

and that pretty much sums up this here valentine's day.

thank goodness i found someone who knows the way to my vintage jewelry, tulip loving heart! the man's a good one.

yay is my new favorite word....

yay for saturday

yay for comfy mocs.

yay for the month of love and mushiness!

yay for laying on the couch and eating my avocado toast.

YAY. YAY. YAY. i think it is safe to say that after what seems like the busiest few weeks ever i am super excited about a much needed relaxing kind of weekend.
