hey husband it's your birthday: part II

well guys we partied hardy over here at the rosenquist house. it was indeed a successful bday for the hubs. check it out....

today husband has twenty two years of life under his belt.  we are going to celebrate it big with lots of cake, candles, & presents!

fate

last night while justin and i were in bed. under a mt kilimanjaro amount of covers. i said to him " do you ever think about how crazy it is that we found each other?" he said "nope it's fate" then i rolled over and said "well i like fate....i like fate a whole lot!" the end. 

christmas with the quist: part one

• i am majorly in love with our christmas tree. you better believe that sucker isn't coming down until the last of the needles falls off of it. i have watered it everyday in hopes that it will last til at least february. AT LEAST!
• i love quirky ornaments. 
• hot chocolate runs through my veins year round....esp during december though.
• my dad is santa! no really. i have the proof. that is him making a nursing home visit this weekend. if your good maybe he will come see you as well. ;)

life lessons

sometimes i feel that i can learn life lessons from tessie girl. when i wake up every morning this little happy ball of energy is always there to greet me. unlike myself in the mornings she is always content, happy, and high spirited. it doesn't matter how grumpy i am towards her in the morn she never fails me. always there wagging her tail. in fact most mornings she lays her long body across my chest sorta tucks herself right under my neck and licks my face until i will finally give in and get up. i should learn to be more like you tess. thanks for making me a better person!

movie night

it's movie night at the Rosenquist's. 

we loved the 2nd Sherlock Homes so much this weekend we decided to rent the first.

rainy day

right now im sitting here in bed, tess girl sprawled out on top of me,  listening to the rain fall outside my window. oh how i love rainy days. they are my very favorite. they have been since i was alittle girl. i've always wanted to dance in the rain with my love. but he isn't so into the whole soaking wet and freezing thing. i can't say that i blame him for that one. instead i think i will pull out my paint and canvas. rainy days make me feel all crafty inside.

time

time flies by. i used to hear older people say it all the time. but as i get older i have begun to realize that it does. time flies REALLY fast. it is hard for me to believe at this time last year i wasn't married to husband.  actually this time last year i wasn't even engaged to husband! whoa alot has changed for me. i've come along way this past year. i've learned alot about myself. sharing a full size bed with someone does that to you. ya know? i used to think i would have it all figured out at a certain age. i mean shouldn't i be an expert on life by now? oh the humor. i have not a clue on so many things in this life. but i have figured one little thing out. as each year passes i will be a different person. i will have overcome struggles that i don't even know exist yet. i am forever changing and evolving into ME! and you know what? i am perfectly ok with that.

husband and the miscellaneous dishes

every Tuesday and Thursday while i'm at work Justin does the dishes.

one of my favorite things about when he does the dishes are the little surprises i find later on.

in actuality i like to find these little miscellaneous surprises...makes me smile.

1. there is just something magical about morning walks. soft sunlight, falling leaves, cool breeze.. pure happiness.

2. Peppermint hot chocolate has become a must have for me this holiday season. sooo yum! i def think i gained five pounds from that christmas in a cup!

3. my most FAVORITE holidays of all the holidays is up next!!!! i've had my decor out since late october...i would keep the lights on the house all year if husband would let me. they make my heart happy.

.......and somewhere jammed in the middle of that we found time to attend our first thanksgiving of the year. that is one down and two to go for the rosenquist! oh my how i love holidays! time off with the fam...life doesn't get much better than that.
